This 3 pages story was made (in European BD ratio) in 1995 for 100% Papier, the comic magazine of Ahuntsic College, with the collaboration of Réal Godbout. These pages were colored using the traditionnal "Blue" technique. All the linearts were changed to blue with a negative, an ultra-violet lamp and a chemical solution. The black lineart was added later during the off-set printing process. The printer was pissed off because by then everything was done by computer. It would probably be impossible to use this same technique today; it was already rare when I used it. The scans are not of a very good quality because they were made from the final prints. |
